Step 2: Roll Your STATs (One Roll!)
Streetrat Method
Roll 1d10 once — that single roll gives you your complete STAT block.
- Find your Role’s Template Table below
- Roll 1d10
- Copy the entire row that matches your roll
- Write the values in order: INT, REF, DEX, TECH, COOL, WILL, LUCK, MOVE, BODY, EMP

These are computer-optimized stat blocks. Every row is balanced for your Role — high stats where you need them, lower elsewhere. No bad rolls, just different flavors of your archetype.
STAT Templates by Role
These are the official, computer-optimized STAT templates. Used by Streetrat (one roll, copy entire row) and Edgerunner (roll per column) methods.

Example: Marcus Rolls His Stats
Marcus chose Solo. He rolls a 5 on the Solo table:
INT REF DEX TECH COOL WILL LUCK MOVE BODY EMP 6 6 7 5 7 6 7 6 8 4 He’s got excellent reflexes and a tough body — perfect for a Solo!
Step 3: Calculate Derived Stats
Derived Statistics
Once you have your STATs, calculate these values. They determine your survivability and humanity.
❤️ Hit Points (HP)
Your total health. When HP reaches 0, you’re in serious trouble.
Formula:
HP = 10 + 5 × ⌈(BODY + WILL) ÷ 2⌉Plain English
Add BODY + WILL, divide by 2, round UP, multiply by 5, add 10.
HP Lookup Table — find your BODY on the left, WILL on top:
BODY\WILL 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 2 20 25 25 30 30 35 35 3 25 25 30 30 35 35 40 4 25 30 30 35 35 40 40 5 30 30 35 35 40 40 45 6 30 35 35 40 40 45 45 7 35 35 40 40 45 45 50 8 35 40 40 45 45 50 50 🩹 Seriously Wounded Threshold
When your HP drops to or below this number, you take -2 to all Actions.
Seriously Wounded = HP ÷ 2 (round up)💀 Death Save
When you hit 0 HP, you roll 1d10 each turn. Need to roll ≥ BODY to survive.
Death Save = BODYMortally Wounded
At 0 HP, you’re not dead yet — but you’re dying. Each turn: roll 1d10.
- Roll ≥ BODY → Survive another turn
- Roll < BODY → Flatlined
🧠 Humanity
Your connection to your own emotions and identity. Cyberware costs Humanity.
Starting Humanity = EMP × 10When your Humanity drops a tens digit, your EMP decreases:
Humanity EMP 70-79 7 60-69 6 50-59 5 40-49 4 30-39 3 20-29 2 10-19 1 0-9 Cyberpsychosis Cyberpsychosis
At 0 Humanity, your character becomes an NPC controlled by the GM.
📈 Movement
Value Formula Use Walk MOVE × 2 m/turn Standard movement Run MOVE × 4 m/turn Running (costs full Action) 📋 Quick Reference
Stat Formula Write On Sheet HP 10 + 5 × ⌈(BODY+WILL)/2⌉ HP box Seriously Wounded HP ÷ 2 (round up) SW threshold Death Save = BODY Death Save box Humanity EMP × 10 Humanity box
← Pick a Role · Step 2 of 7 · Lifepath →
Link to original
Example: Marcus's Derived Stats
Marcus has BODY 8 and WILL 6:
- (8 + 6) ÷ 2 = 7
- HP = 10 + (5 × 7) = 45 HP
- Seriously Wounded = 45 ÷ 2 = 23 (at 23 HP or less, -2 to all actions)
- Death Save = 8 (needs 8+ on d10 to survive each turn at 0 HP)
- Humanity = 4 × 10 = 40 (based on his EMP of 4)
Step 4: Run Your Lifepath
Now for the fun part — creating your character’s history, personality, and connections. This is what transforms a stat block into a person.

Example: Marcus's Chrome
Solo starting cyberware:
Cyberware What It Does HL Neural Link Foundation for neuralware 7 Sandevistan +3 Initiative when activated 7 Total HL: 14 → Humanity: 40 - 14 = 26 (EMP drops to 2)

❓ Common Questions
What if I don't like my stat roll?
Talk to your GM. Some GMs let you reroll once, or pick a different row. But remember — Streetrat is about speed, not optimization. Embrace the character you get!
Can I swap my skills around?
Not in strict Streetrat. But many GMs allow swapping within your package as long as the totals stay the same. Ask your GM!
What's all this cyberware do?
Not to worry! Just install it and track the Humanity Loss. You’ll learn what each piece does as you play. The Sandevistan is the most important for a Solo — it gives you +3 Initiative in combat.
