Response Protocol

  1. Activation: Dead man’s switch, panic button, or automated biomonitor
  2. Dispatch: Nearest AV team scrambled
  3. Arrival: Heavily armed medical team secures patient
  4. Extraction: Patient loaded, AV departs
  5. Treatment: Stabilization en route, hospital delivery

Combat Extraction

Trauma Team will enter active firefights to extract subscribers:

  • Armed medical team engages hostiles
  • AV provides fire support
  • Patient stabilized under fire
  • No non-subscriber civilians assisted

Service Denial

Trauma Team will refuse service if:

  • Policy lapsed
  • Suicide attempt (varies by policy)
  • Fraudulent claim
  • Combat zone too hot (retreated, retry later)

Using Trauma Team

As Deus Ex Machina: If a PC has coverage, Trauma Team can save them from death—but extraction takes time and may not succeed.

As Complication: That NPC you’re assassinating has Trauma Team. Now you’re fighting their extraction crew.

As Employer: Trauma Team hires Edgerunners for:

  • Recovery of stolen equipment
  • Dealing with non-payers
  • Security for facilities
  • Investigating fraud
