The AV-4 (Aerodyne Vehicle Model 4) is the standard urban assault and utility aerodyne used by corporations, police forces (like NCSAP), and Trauma Team throughout the Time of the Red. Developed as a light assault aircraft for close urban maneuvering, its vectored thrust fans allow it to hover and land in tight spaces where helicopters cannot.
By 2045, it remains the gold standard for tactical aerial mobility. It is famously durable, capable of taking significant punishment while delivering a squad of 6 passengers (plus pilot) into the heat of battle.
