Night City runs on services. If you can pay, someone will help. If you can’t, you’re on your own.
Medical Services
Hospitals & Clinics
Most legitimate medical care happens through corporate-backed hospitals. They’re clean, well-equipped, and hideously expensive unless you have insurance.
- Night City Medical Center (NCMC) — The biggest hospital in the city. Located in Little China. Handles everything from gunshot wounds to cybersurgery.
- Corporate Clinics — In-house medical for employees. Top-tier care, zero access for outsiders.
- Combat Zone Clinics — Unlicensed, unregulated. Cheaper, but the anesthetic might be expired.
Ripperdocs
Independent cybersurgeons who install, repair, and remove cyberware. Quality varies wildly.
- Legit ripperdocs operate from proper clinics. More expensive, fewer complications.
- Back-alley rippers work out of vans and basements. Cheaper, but you might wake up missing a kidney.
- Mall ripperdocs handle cosmetic and basic cyberware in shopping centers. Fast, affordable, low-risk.
Therapy
Mental health care exists — for a price. Therapists help recover Humanity lost to excessive cyberware and treat drug addiction.
- Legal therapists charge 500-1,000eb per session and operate from hospitals and private practices.
- Underground therapists are cheaper, no questions asked, and work out of Combat Zone clinics.
- Corporate Employee Assistance Programs cover therapy for employees — the corp wants productive workers, not cyberpsychos.

Security Services
Trauma Team
Platinum-tier medical extraction. If you have a Trauma Team card and flatline, an armed AV full of combat medics will come get you. Within minutes. They do not care who shot you or why.
MAX-TAC
When a cyberpsycho goes on a rampage, MAX-TAC handles it. Heavily armed, heavily chromed, and utterly ruthless. Many MAX-TAC officers are recovered cyberpsychos themselves.
Private Security
Corporations and wealthy individuals hire private security firms like Lazarus Security and Arasaka to protect their assets. Quality ranges from off-duty cops to full military spec-ops teams.
Information Services
- Data brokers buy and sell information. A good broker can find anything — for a price.
- Fixers are the connectors. They find jobs, gear, people, and opportunities. See Fixer.
- The NET — Local architectures hold corporate secrets, personal data, and security systems. Netrunners access them for a fee.
