Despite the name, this drug used to treat patients in danger of cyberpsychosis is actually a cocktail of immunoblockers, anti-psychotics, and other such chemicals. It’s a last resort for those teetering on the edge of losing their humanity entirely.

Common Use

Immunoblockers are frequently used by heavily-chromed edgerunners to stave off cyberpsychosis β€” at least temporarily.

Primary Effect

Humanity Restoration

  • User restores 2d6 Humanity
  • Cannot exceed Maximum Humanity allowed via therapy
  • Lasts for 1 month (may wear off early at GM discretion during stressful moments)

Secondary Effect (DV 21)

Failure Cascade

If the user fails the DV 21 check:

  1. All Humanity gained is immediately lost
  2. Suffer -2 to all Checks for 60 seconds (20 Rounds) due to hallucinations
  3. Must inject 2 additional doses within 60 seconds as an Action
  4. If not done: suffer 4d6 Humanity Loss at end of 60 seconds

Extreme Cyberpsychosis

If this Humanity Loss reduces user to negative Humanity:

  • Enter Extreme Cyberpsychosis (GM takes control)
  • GM may grant +2 to all Checks for duration
  • Control returns if Humanity becomes positive again
