📖 Description
The Concept Mechanics Transporter is a common sight in Night City, flying packages across districts. Fast, agile, and strong, it replaces inefficient delivery personnel and automates the shopping process.
The Transporter is the only personal drone with unlimited range — it navigates via CitiNet rather than a direct Agent tether. This makes it ideal for delivery runs, supply drops, and moving contraband across the city. At DV 21 to counter, it’s also the hardest personal drone to hack.
⚠️ Operation Modes
Linking: Linked to Agent. Re-linking requires 5 uninterrupted minutes, both Agents within 6 m/yds. If countered, attacker can force the drone to release its package, then re-link with 1 Action.
- Standby: Powered on but inactive. Cannot move, attack, or dodge.
- Auto Mode: Send to a specific address or coordinates. Can be instructed to set the package down automatically or require confirmation via Agent before delivery. Cannot attack or dodge.
- Direct Control: Controlled via Agent using 1 Action (same as Netrunner Interface → Control). Uses your own skills. Cannot dodge ranged attacks.
CitiNet Dependency
The Transporter uses CitiNet for long-range navigation. If the drone’s CitiNet connection is disrupted, it lands harmlessly on the ground and awaits reconnection or retrieval.
