Cyberware Enhancements are Tech Upgrades that have become so ubiquitous they can be purchased off the rack and installed without a Maker Role Ability check.

  • One Enhancement per Cyberware β€” Only one enhancement can be installed at a time
  • Body-Implanted Only β€” Cannot be installed in external devices (Smart Glasses, Battleglove)
  • Type-Specific β€” Cannot transfer between different cyberware types
  • Tech Installation β€” Must be installed/uninstalled by a Tech (no Skill Check required)
  • Installation Time β€” 1 hour to install or uninstall
  • Not an Upgrade β€” Does not count for Upgrade Expertise

A state-of-the-art piston system makes light work of tough demolition jobs. Adds 3d6 to damage rolls against cover only.

Pneumatic Actuation

Rotary pneumatic actuators improve range of motion for delicate tasks of intense violence. When causing a Critical Injury, bonus damage is increased by 5.

Tungsten Reinforcement

Careful application of tungsten enhances the Gorilla Arm’s knuckles and internal structure. Transforms it into a Combination weapon with two modes:

  • Heavy Melee (ROF 2, 3d6)
  • Very Heavy Melee (ROF 1, 4d6)

Switching modes does not require an Action.

Double-Edged

A second cutting edge increases chances of nasty wounds. When causing a Critical Injury, roll twice and choose your favorite result.

Monomolecular Edge

A true mono-katana. Any damage ignores armor entirely if it is lower than SP7 (before halving). SP7+ functions normally.

Streamlined

Perfect for speedware users. When using Speedware and spending at least 1 Luck on an attack, add +1 to the Check (stacks with other bonuses).

Barbed Line

Flesh-ripping monomolecular barbs along the wire. When causing a Critical Injury, roll three times (instead of twice) and choose.

Electroshock

Shock nodules transform the wire into a taser. If damage would reduce target below 1 HP, you can choose to leave them Unconscious at 1 HP instead.

Thermal-Bladed

Superheated blades improve effectiveness against armor. Whenever ablating armor, ablate 1 additional SP.
