🎄 The 12 Days of Gunmas

“MERRY GUNMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL I RELEASE TO THEE — PRINT SCHEMATICS THAT SURELY ALL WISH TO SEE. HO HO HO, NIGHT CITY, INFORMATION WANTS TO BE FREE!” — S.A.N.T.A., notorious Netrunner
Every December 24th, a mysterious Netrunner known only as S.A.N.T.A. jacks into The Library — Short Circuit’s public NET Architecture — and dumps a file full of declassified corporate weapon schematics. Nobody knows who they are, or how they get past the ICE. But every year, Night City’s Techs rush to print the latest batch.
These are the 12 Days of Gunmas — twelve fan-favorite weapons from the 2020s, updated for the Time of the Red. All are Exotic Weapons and follow Exotic weapon rules (no non-standard ammo or attachments unless specifically noted).

🔫 The Weapons
Assault Rifles
Arasaka WAA Bullpup
1,000eb (Very Expensive) · Exotic Assault Rifle · Shoulder Arms
A bullpup assault rifle standard-issue for Arasaka soldiers in the 2020s. Tough, reliable, and chipped for Smartgun use. Despite being exotic, it can load Non-Basic Ammunition.
Mechanics
- Damage: 5d6 · Magazine: 30 (Rifle) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 2
- Autofire (4) · Suppressive Fire · Smartgun Link
- Can load Non-Basic Ammunition (unlike most Exotics)
Stolbovoy ST-5
100eb (Premium) · Poor Quality Exotic Assault Rifle · Shoulder Arms
Created by Stolbovoy to operate under the most adverse conditions — heat, cold, mud, sand, corrosion. Most ST-5s ever issued are still in service today. This version is a schematic print.
Mechanics
- Damage: 5d6 · Magazine: 20 (Rifle) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 2
- Autofire (4) · Suppressive Fire · Poor Quality
- While jammed, firing has a 50% chance of working normally (clears the jam). Fail = no shot, but jam still clears.
- Can load Non-Basic Ammunition (unlike most Exotics)
Handguns
Constitutional Arms Multi-Ammo Pistol
500eb (Expensive) · Exotic Very Heavy Pistol · Handgun
A revolver with a rapid selector switch and readout display. Load up to five different types of Very Heavy Pistol ammunition and choose which to fire each shot.
Mechanics
- Damage: 4d6 · Magazine: 5 (VH Pistol) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 1
- Can load a mix of up to 5 different ammo types (Very Heavy Pistol ammunition)
- Select which ammo to fire with each shot
Magnum Opus Hellbringer
1,000eb (Very Expensive) · Exotic Very Heavy Pistol · Handgun
A massive double-action revolver. Three rounds of titanium-steel devastation. No electronics, no mercy — just make each shot count.
Mechanics
- Damage: 5d6 · Magazine: 3 (VH Pistol) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 1
- Requires BODY 10+ or weapon jams after each shot (Action to clear)
- No electronics or smartgun capability
The Hellbringer was also known as the .666 back in the day.
Militech Crusher
500eb (Expensive) · Exotic Very Heavy Pistol · Handgun
A pistol-sized shotgun developed for close combat and room-sweeping. The Crusher’s whippet silhouette and box magazine are an icon of gun culture. Built-in air compressor for easy reloading.
Mechanics
- Damage: Shotgun Shell damage · Magazine: 6 (Shell) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 1
- Can only fire Shotgun Shell Ammunition
- Uses Handgun skill (not Shoulder Arms)
Nova Model 757 Cityhunter
1,000eb (Very Expensive) · Exotic Heavy Handgun · Handgun

Mechanics
- Damage: 3d6 · Magazine: 18 (Heavy Pistol) · ROF: 2 · Hands: 1
- Smartgun Link · Can fire Smart Ammunition
- Ammo purchased in increments of 18 at the cost of 10 rounds
SMGs
Malorian Arms Sub-Flechette Gun
5,000eb (Luxury) · Excellent Quality Exotic Heavy SMG · Handgun
Malorian Arms’ proprietary flechette SMG — a rotary bolt semi-bullpup firing caseless flechette rounds that defeat any body armor in present use. The single most expensive firearm in the Gunmas catalog.
Mechanics
- Damage: 3d6 · Magazine: 25 (Heavy Pistol) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 1
- Autofire (4) · Suppressive Fire · Smartgun Link · Excellent Quality
- Fires only its own unique Armor-Piercing Ammunition — ablates armor by 4 instead of 1
- Ammo costs the same as standard AP ammo but only works in this weapon
Mustang Arms ARS-5
1,000eb (Very Expensive) · Exotic Heavy SMG · Handgun
The hot gun for 2020s Corps and law enforcement. Nowadays, original ARS-5s have trickled down to younger, greasier hands. Time to print new ones.
Mechanics
- Damage: 3d6 · Magazine: 40 (Heavy Pistol) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 1
- Autofire (3) · Suppressive Fire
- Built-in: Smartgun Link · Infrared Nightvision Scope · Sniping Scope
If you find an antique ARS-5 at a Night Market, there’s a good chance it still has the original Exec owner’s name engraved on the grip.
Teen Dreem
20eb (Everyday) · Poor Quality Exotic SMG · Handgun
A relic of 2020s mall culture. The Teen Dreem is a gun for posers — garish colors, cheap plastic, and a barrel that melts when you go full auto. Available in Vendits and Bodegas citywide.
Mechanics
- Damage: 2d6 · Magazine: 10 (Medium Pistol) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 1 · Concealable
- Autofire (3) · Suppressive Fire (needs only 2 bullets, drains clip)
- Self-Destructs: The barrel melts after Autofire/Suppressive Fire, destroying the weapon beyond repair
- Poor Quality
Melee
IMI Chainknife
500eb (Expensive) · Exotic Melee Weapon · Melee Weapons
A hand-held combat saw designed by IMI for Mossad agents. Shaped like a survival knife, this chainsaw blade can chew through armor like cheesecloth when revved up.
Mechanics
- Unrevved: One-Handed Exotic Medium Melee Weapon — 2d6 damage
- Revved Up (Action to toggle): Becomes Excellent Quality Very Heavy Melee Weapon — 4d6 damage
- Takes an Action to rev up or down. Drops to unrevved if stowed or dropped.
Heavy Weapons
Kendachi Dragon Flamethrower
1,000eb (Very Expensive) · Exotic Shotgun · Heavy Weapons

Mechanics
- Magazine: 2 (Shotgun Shell) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 1
- Uses Heavy Weapons skill (not Shoulder Arms)
- Can only fire Incendiary Shotgun Shells (ammo cost matches Incendiary Shells)
- Ignited targets take 4 damage to HP at end of their turn until they spend an Action to extinguish
- Multiple fire effects don’t stack (replaces weaker ones)
- Cannot cause Critical Injuries · Cannot make Aimed Shots
Sniper Rifles
Nomad Pneumatic Bolt Gun
500eb (Expensive) · Exotic Sniper Rifle · Shoulder Arms
An air weapon based on pre-collapse paintball tech. Four rotating barrels fire large bolts over extreme distances. Used by Nomads for harassing drivers and shooting tires.
Mechanics
- Damage: 4d6 · Magazine: 8 (Arrow) · ROF: 1 · Hands: 2
- Fires Arrows instead of bullets
- Can load Non-Basic Ammunition (unlike most Exotics)
Nomads are proud of their tech and decorate their weapons accordingly. No two Pneumatic Bolt Guns look alike.
