  1. GM rolls 1d6
  2. If the roll is under their Loyalty → they do it
  3. If the roll equals or exceeds Loyalty → they may refuse, botch it, or betray you

Keep Loyalty high by treating them well, paying on time, and not sending them on suicide missions.
