📖 Description
Like the gargoyles of ancient European castles, the Savannah Eagle lurks in an overwatch position and guards the exterior or interior of any home, compound, factory, or other structure. Upon activation, it swoops down on trespassers, unleashing a barrage of bullets from its integrated SMG and a disorienting sonic assault from its onboard Shrieker.
The Eagle is fragile compared to its siblings (7 SP, 30 HP) but compensates with flight, cloaking, and a high counter DV of 21.
⚠️ Special Rules
Cloaking
After the Eagle remains still for 1 minute, it activates optical camouflage:
- Spotting a cloaked Eagle requires a DV 17 Perception Check using regular vision.
- Low Light/Infrared/UV vision bypasses cloaking entirely.
- Radar/Sonar bypasses cloaking entirely.
Active Defense
- Requires a NET Architecture to operate.
- Default trigger: targets entering the defended area without proper pass or badge.
- Can be countered with DV 21 Electronics/Security Tech (5 minutes, within 6 m/yds).
