A transparent polycarbonate shield that can protect you in a firefight.
Mechanics
The Bulletproof Shield acts as Portable Cover.
- Hit Points: Has 10 HP.
- Usage:
- Requires 1 Hand to hold.
- Can take an Action to use it as cover.
- Damage:
- Absorbs damage completely until its HP is reduced to 0.
- Once at 0 HP, it is destroyed and provides no further protection.
- Excess damage from the destroying shot passes through to the user/armor. (Unless treated as pure cover rules, typically shield absorbs then breaks, see p.183). *Correction: Cover rules say damage exceeding HP continues to target. Shields in RED are typically 10 HP. *
