The NCPD Crime Database links your Agent’s camera to the city’s crime records. The app allows the user to upload digital photos to the database, and then alerts the user if the people in the photo are wanted for any crimes, of any bounties on them, or if they have a criminal record.
This process, which the app refers to as a records request, takes one hour to complete. The information it returns is limited to whatever the NCPD has publicly on file. NCPD has full access to the photograph and any embedded metadata.
Following the NCPD’s release of their app, many other major cities have released similar apps using their own databases.
