📝 Overview
Yorinobu Arasaka is the second son of Saburo Arasaka and the most dangerous threat to Arasaka that comes from within its own bloodline. While his sister Hanako holds the corporation together and his father rules from Japan, Yorinobu operates from the outside — a renegade who has dedicated his life to tearing down everything the Arasaka name represents.
He leads the Taka (Hawk) Faction, a group of Arasaka insiders and outsiders aligned with his vision of destroying the corporation. His methods are unclear, his location is unknown, and his resources are uncertain — but he has survived everything the family has thrown at him, including his own brother’s attempt to kill him.
📜 The Body Double
During the 4th Corporate War, Yorinobu’s elder brother Kei — Saburo’s loyal heir — attempted to have Yorinobu captured and subjected to Soulkiller, the consciousness-destroying program. But Kei’s operatives made a fatal mistake: the person who ended up under the probes was a body double. Yorinobu had anticipated the betrayal and made himself impossible to find for the duration of the war.
This single act of cunning defines Yorinobu’s character. He is a survivor who outthinks his opponents, even when those opponents are his own family with unlimited corporate resources.

After Kei’s death in the Night City nuke (2023), Arasaka fractured into three factions:
